NOTE: If the throttle position sensor or engine control module is replaced in vehicles with automatic transmission, the kick-down function must be
adapted.
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Vehicle diagnostic, testing, and information system VAS 5051 (VAS 5051 B version shown as example only)
Work procedure

Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 connected with Diagnostic Cable VAS 5051 /5A , Vehicle Self-Diagnosis selected.

No faults in DTC memory.

Engine not running, ignition switched on.
Display on VAS 5051 :
-
Tap "On Board Diagnostic" in selection -1 - and activate by tapping -> button.
