Ribbed Belt Pulley With Overrunning Clutch, Removing and Installing

Ribbed Belt Pulley With Overrunning Clutch, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

-

Multi-point adapter 3400

-

Torx T 50 socket

Removing

-

Remove generator:
-

3.2l FSI engines.

-

4.2l MPI engine

-

4.2l FSI engine.

-

5.2l FSI engine.

-

Press off protective cap from generator pulley.

-

Counterhold pulley using multi-tooth adapter 3400 and rotate generator shaft clockwise to loosen it.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

To tighten, rotate generator shaft clockwise.

-

Clip protective cap onto generator pulley.

Tightening torque

Ribbed belt pulley with freewheel to generator: 80 Nm
