Installing adapter harness

1. Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

2. Sedan: Lift luggage compartment floor mat and secure it in position.

Avant: Remove luggage compartment floor covering (Figure 1,1) and spare wheel well cover plate (Figure 2, 2).

3. Release battery retaining strap (if installed).

Tip: If the battery retaining strap is not installed with a quick-release fastener, unscrew securing bolt on battery retaining strap.
