Press front bearing (aluminum) into subframe until stop.

Pressing out front bearing (bonded rubber bushing)

Install tools at front bearing (bonded rubber bushing) as shown in illustration.

2. Press piece (3416/1)

3. Subframe

4. Sleeve (T10205/5)

5. Thrust plate (VW 402)

6. Thrust plate (VW 401)

Pressing in front bearing (bonded rubber bushing)

Note installation position of bearing.

Catch - 1 - of front bearing must align with recess -  2 -.
