Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair
Guide Plate With Cable, Removing and Installing

Guide plate with cable, removing and installing 

Removing 

- 

Remove sunroof motor.

- 

Slide guide plate toward rear in guide rail evenly on both sides.

- 

Remove screws from guide channel. 
Tightening torque: 2.0 Nm (18 in lb)

- 

Remove guide channel.

- 

Slide guide plate forward out of guide rail.

- 

Flip up water channel -1- in guide plate -2- and pull out in direction of arrow.

 
 
Installing 

Note:  Install water channel before installing guide plates.
