Overhauling Power Steering Gear

Power steering gear repairing

CAUTION:  Work place and individual parts must be kept completely clean.

NOTE:  Power steering operates with power steering fluid, Part No. G 002 000, or equivalent. All parts marked with an asterisk (*) are included in the
repair kit and are to be replaced during repair. Moisten all O-rings, seals and other sealing parts with power steering fluid before installing. Do not
attempt to weld or straighten steering components

Right End Housing With Cylinder Pipe
Drive out with mandrel
Install O-rings and support ring and lubricate lightly with multipurpose grease before installing in steering housing

Always replace
Dimensions: 34 x 2 mm

Steering Housing/Steering Gear
