Double Seal In Front Final Drive Intermediate Flange, Replacing

5 Speed Automatic 01V

Double seal in intermediate flange, replacing 

Note:  
-

On the left side of the intermediate flange there is an oil leak checking hole for the double seal in the drive pinion and the double seal in the
intermediate flange.

-

If fluid is leaking from this leak, checking hole (arrow), the double seal must be replaced.

Tools required 

-

3404 press tool

Removing 

-

Remove differential.

-

Remove intermediate flange for front final drive.

-

Drive out double seal with suitable mandrel in direction of differential.
