Front Information Display Control Head

Front Information Display Control Head

The Front Information Display Control Head (J685) (screen) is attached to the "Instrument cluster trim" from behind together with the instrument
cluster.

-

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Remove instrument cluster panel. 

-

Disengage connector cover - 2 - by pressing latch -  1 - in direction of - arrow A -.

-

Swing connector cover - 2 - upward in direction of -  arrow B - and disconnect harness connector.

-

Remove screws - arrows - (2 Nm) and remove display. 

Installing

-

Install in reverse order.

-

Make sure connector cover is audibly engaged.
