Rear shelf with sun shade
-

Removal
-

Retract sun shade - 4 -.

-

Remove roof panel trim.

-

Remove D-pillar trim on left and right

Vehicles with foldable rear seat backrests
-

Fold rear seat backrest forward.

Vehicles with fixed rear seat backrests
-

Remove rear seat bench.

-

Remove rear seat backrest.

-

Remove right seat belt buckle with retainer.

Procedure for all vehicles
-

Remove screws - 5 - (3x).

-

Push rear shelf - 1 - forward and unclip clamps - 10 - (4x) from rear shelf crossmember - 6 -.

-

Pull rear shelf - 1 - with retainers with pins - 8 - (4x) out of carrier below rear window - 7 -.

-

Disconnect electrical connector -9 -.

Vehicles with fixed rear seat backrests
-

Unclip rear center belt guide from rear shelf - 1 -.

-

Guide belt webbing with rear center belt guide through opening - 3 - in rear shelf - 1 -.

Procedure for all vehicles
-

Remove rear shelf - 1 -.

-

Installing
-

Check clamps - 10 - (4x) for damage and deformity.

Replace damaged or deformed clamps.

-

Before installing rear shelf - 1 -, make sure clamps - 10 - (4x) are positioned correctly.
