‹› If connecting element - A - cannot be inserted into the control motor without pretension, the shaft may be incorrectly positioned.

Attach the control motor - B - to the connecting element - D - of the footwell door shaft.

‹› Reach into the vent if necessary and bring the door - E - into the position where the control motor can be installed.

‹› Check connecting element for proper seating, it must engage in motor shaft and there must not be any clearance between actuator shaft and

connecting element.

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module (J255) A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if necessary.

Perform a basic setting and output diagnostic test mode on the A/C system.
