5. Cut two pieces of the heat shrink tubing (approximately 8 cm each) and slide over the hoses prior to connecting hoses together.

6. Move the heat shrink pieces over the connecting pieces and heat using hot air gun.

TIP:  Heat the heat shrink from the center to the outside.

7. Install additional cloth tape above the heat shrink tubing (Figure 7). Install the repaired hose back to the original mounting points using new tie

straps.

8. Test the rear washer system for proper operation and ensure that no leak is present.
9. Reinstall removed trim panels.
