Tail Lamp and Outer Bulb Carrier, Avant, through May 2008

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Turn light switch into "0" position.

-

Remove luggage compartment side trim cover.

-

Remove the cap nut - 2 -.

-

Pry tail lamp - 1 - out of clip nuts from outside using Trim Removal Wedge (3409).

-

Remove tail lamp from body cut-out.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector at lamp carrier.

-

Expand catch bracket - arrows - and remove lamp carrier -  1 - from tail lamp.

-

Remove bulbs from sockets.
