Conditioning/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Restrictor (remove and install restrictor).

-

Disconnect refrigerant line - C - from the connector at the reservoir=> [ Reservoir ] See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Receiver Dryer/Service
and Repair.

-

Release the grommet - D - from the front wall of the plenum chamber.

-

Remove refrigerant lines - A - and - C - together. 

-

Separate refrigerant lines - A - and - C - from one another.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

-

Coat O-ring seals lightly with refrigerant oil before installing => [ Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals ] See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals.

Following attachment, check routing of refrigerant pipes. They must be inserted in holders provided and not make contact with other components. 

-

Refill any fluids that were drained and bleed the respective vehicle systems.

-

Evacuate and refrigerant circuit after assembly and refill. 

-

Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module (J255) A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if necessary.
