Headlamp Alignment Control Module: Service and Repair

Automatic Vertical Headlamp Aim Control Modules

Component location: Behind glove compartment at carrier for instrument panel.

Removing

-

If control module is replaced, select "Guided Functions" of respective control module in Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS
5051.

-

Remove glove compartment. Refer to

-

Press the clip - 2 - to the side - arrow A  - and remove the control module - 1 - form the frame.

Disconnect electrical harness connector, to do so, press catch -  3 - and turn retaining bracket in - arrow B -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install glove compartment.
