Seat belt height adjuster
-

Removal
-

Press button - 6 - and bring slide - 5 - to bottom position.

-

Remove upper B-pillar trim - 4 -.

-

Lay aside upper B-pillar trim - 4 - with threaded belt webbing.

-

Remove bolt - 7 -.

-

Remove belt relay - 3 -.

-

Remove bolt - 2 -.

-

Pull seat belt height adjuster - 1 - up and out of B-pillar.

Installing 

NOTE:
-

Replacement seat belt height adjusters are always in bottom locking position (assembly position).

-

If removed seat belt height adjusters are reinstalled, these should be placed in bottom position (assembly position).

-

Engage seat belt height adjuster - 1 - in B-pillar.

-

Install screw - 2 - and tighten to specified torque.

-

Install belt relay - 3 - and tighten screw - 7 - to specified torque.

NOTE:
-

Button - 6 - should not be pressed with slide - 5 - when installing upper B-pillar trim - 4 -.

-

Ensure seat belt height adjuster - 1 - is in top position.

-

Thread slide - 5 - onto seat belt height adjuster profile - 1 -.

-

Install upper B-pillar trim - 4 -. 

Replacement seat belt height adjuster
-

Firmly press slide - 5 - upward (approx. 60 Nm) after installing upper B-pillar trim - 4 -.

This removes seat belt height adjuster assembly anchorage.

Procedure for all seat belt height adjusters
-

Check function.
