Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

ESP Sensor Unit

The ESP Sensor Unit (G419) is located at the front of the tunnel under the air conditioner.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

Removing

-

Remove center console extension. 

-

Disconnect the -1- ESP Sensor Unit (G419) connector.

-

- Arrow - indicates direction of travel.

-

Remove two bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove ESP-Sensor Unit (G419)-  1 -.

Installing

CAUTION!
Strong vibrations can destroy the ESP Sensor Unit (G419).

-

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
