CAUTION!
The rain/light recognition sensor (G397) must be free of inclusions and bubbles on the windshield to function properly.

Press sensor clips on mirror base.

Replace the rain/light recognition sensor (G397)

‹› To remove sensor, proceed as described above.

If necessary, completely remove any foil from the old rain/light recognition sensor (G397) from the windshield. 

-

Clean the contact surface on the windshield using cleaning solution D 009 401 04.

-

Gently press the surfaces - arrows - on the cap -  2 - together and remove it from the rain/light recognition sensor (G397) - 1 -.
