If equipped, install the dome brace - 1 -. Refer to => [ Tower Brace ] See: Suspension/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front
Suspension/Tower Brace.

CAUTION!
The valve unit is flushed with coolant and can heat up to 120°.

Tighten banjo bolt - 2 - with a bent open end wrench, for example Hazet 615 => [ (Item 13) Banjo bolt ] See: Power Steering Gear Assembly

Tighten banjo bolt - 1  - => [ (Item 18) Banjo bolt with check valve ] See: Power Steering Gear Assembly Overview. Note the installation position

Insert tie rod end into the wheel bearing housing as far as the stop.

‹› Install the tie rod end by hand only into the wheel bearing housing -  1 -. Do not put stress on the tie rod end sealing washer -  2 -.
