Measure dimension - a - between boot and lower edge of suspension strut housing. Distance - a - must be 70 mm.

Align clamps - 2 - and - 3 - so that they align with residual pressure valve - 1 -.

Before tensioning clamps, make sure boot is not twisted, adjust if necessary.

Tension clamps using hose clamp pliers V.A.G. 1275.
