Pressing bearing inner race off of wheel hub

Insert separator between bearing inner race - 1 - and spinning washer - 2 - and pre-load spindle.

Note:

Use a commercially available separator, e.g. Kukko 1712.

This deforms the spinning washer and then must be replaced.

Press bearing inner race off wheel bearing of wheel hub.

Replacing spinning washer of wheel bearing

Carefully pry off old spinning washer - 1 - using a screwdriver.

Position new spinning washer on wheel hub.
