Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair
Hood Lock Cable, Removing And Installing

Hood lock cable
Removing:
-
Remove storage compartment on driver's side.
-
Remove screws - 3 -.
-
Detach cable at support (arrow - B -) and disengage end of cable (arrow - A -) at lower section of hood lock - 5 -.
-
Remove securing clip - 4 -.
-
Remove cable - 1 - from guide channel in seal - 6 - and pull cable through bulkhead into interior of vehicle.
Installing:
-
Install in reverse order of removal.
