Seat Bottom: Service and Repair
Rear Seat Bench

Removing

-

Lift rear seat bench (arrows -A-) and pull forward (arrow -B-).

Remove airbag harness connector from recess. See Fig. 1.

On vehicles with heated seats and side airbags, disconnect harness connectors.

WARNING!  If the vehicle is equipped with side airbags, observe all safety precautions before starting work on any part of the airbag
system. See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Side Air Bag/Service Precautions 

 
Installing

-

On vehicles with heated seats and side airbags, connect harness connectors.

-

Slide seat to rear (arrow -A-).

-

Guide attachments into plastic sockets (arrows -B-).

CAUTION!  When installing, be careful not to damage the plastic sockets.
