Release 4-pin harness connector -arrow- and disconnect.

Using multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent), measure resistance between both terminals -2- and -3- of closing flange.

Tank full: specified value approx. 270 Ohm

Tank empty: specified value approx. 70 Ohm

If reading is 0 Ohm or infinity Ohm, there is an open or short circuit inside the fuel tank.

NOTE:  In order to test the maximum and minimum values for "tank full" and "tank empty", remove fuel pump delivery module, and pivot or slide the
floats of the two sensors all the way to their top and bottom positions.

When the fuel gauge sensor is removed, the float will travel further and
the specifications are:
