Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair
High Intensity Gas Discharge Lamp
WARNING! HIGH VOLTAGE! Before working on components marked with yellow high voltage symbols, be sure to disconnect the battery
after determining the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
Removing
-
For right headlight, remove rear part of air intake duct.

Remove cover from headlight housing.

Disconnect electrical connector -1- for gas discharge bulb by turning it counterclockwise.

Remove retainer -2- on gas discharge bulb by turning it counterclockwise.

Remove bulb.
Installing
-
Install retainer -1- on lugs of gas discharge bulb -3- and insert with both notches (arrows). Now secure by turning clock- wise.

Connect electrical connector and reinstall cover on headlight housing.
