Hang up container for ATF filling device VAG 1924 as high as possible on vehicle.

-

Raise vehicle.

-

Place drip tray V.A.G 1306 under transmission.

WARNING! Wear protective glasses.

If ATF-temperature reaches 30°C (86°F), remove ATF-plug -2- and if necessary drain excess ATF.

If ATF drains from the ATF-plug before the ATF has reached 40°C (104°F) the ATF level is OK.

Note:
-

At the latest at 45°C (113°F) (For tropical climates 50°C (122°F) If no ATF drains up to 40°C (104°F) the ATF plug must be closed again.

If no ATF drains up to 40°C (104°F), add ATF.

Insert filling hook of filling device V.A.G 1924 into hole for ATF plug, item 2-.
