Disconnect vacuum line -1- at vacuum unit for cruise control.

Remove bolts (arrows) for bracket of vacuum unit -2- for cruise control.

-

Disconnect actuation rod at throttle valve control module.

-

Remove clip -3- for accelerator pedal cable sleeve.

-

Disconnect nipple -1- at accelerator pedal cable end from cable disk.

-

Remove accelerator pedal cable together with rubber bearing -4- from support -2-.

Vehicles with automatic transmission

-

Disconnect harness connector -2- at kickdown switch. 

All vehicles

-

Remove clip -1- at accelerator pedal cable support or kick- down switch.

NOTE:  For vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, the clip is located behind the bulkhead.

Turn accelerator pedal cable attachment approx. 1/4 - turn (90°) counter clockwise (arrow -1-) and pull from bulkhead (arrow -2-).

Remove accelerator pedal cable.
