Final Drive Cover O-Ring

Special tools and equipment 

-

VAG1306 drip tray

Removing 

-

Loosen bolt for drive axle/wheel hub so that vehicle is still resting on its wheels.

-

Remove right front wheel.

-

Remove heat shield for right drive axle.

-

Remove right drive axle.

-

Remove left and right front exhaust pipes together with vibration element.

-

Remove right transmission support.

-

Remove central bolt of right flange shaft -arrow-; hold flange shaft with drift to prevent it turning.

-

Place oil drip tray below.

-

Pull out right flange shaft.
