Hood Shock / Support: Removal and Replacement
Removing Gas-filled Strut
Removing
-
Prop up and secure hood in open position.

Lift retaining spring (arrow) slightly using small screwdriver and pull gas-filled strut -1- off ball stud.

Detach strut at bottom ball stud.
Installing
-
To install, press gas-filled strut onto ball studs so that it engages in position.
Install with tube end of strut at body of vehicle.
