Fuse Block: Description and Operation

The Audi A6 as of m.y. 1998 has one single main wiring harness instead of several individual harnesses.

Repairs to the wiring harness, terminals and connectors must be performed using the VAS1978 repair kit.

Detailed instructions on how to use VAS1978 are supplied with the repair kit. It explains how to repair open circuits in wiring and faulty connectors.

NOTE:  Shielded wiring for the ABS system must not be repaired.
