Remove bolts of differential cover in opposite order of tightening order shown, -12 to-1-, and remove.
Installing
-
Replace O-ring -arrow-.
-
Install differential cover.
Tightening order:
-
1st stage: Tighten bolts -1-, -2- and -3- by hand.

2nd stage: Tighten bolts -1- to -12- to the final torque of 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) in the order stated.

Check gear oil in final drive and top up.

Install right transmission support.
-
Install drive axle.
-
Top up transmission fluid in front final drive and check oil level
Tightening torques
Differential cover to transmission housing ............................................................................................................................................... 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Flange shaft to transmission ...................................................................................................................................................................... 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Heat shield to transmission ....................................................................................................................................................................... 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
