Press triple roller star onto drive axle

Securing ring must engage audibly, triple roller star must contact securing ring gap-free.

-

Install securing ring.

1. Pliers (commercially available)

Press 70 grams of G 000 605 drive axle grease from repair set into back of triple roller joint.

Lightly grease roller body

-

Make sure roller bodies do not cant

-

Press joint piece over triple roller star using a plastic mallet

-

Press remaining amount of grease into CV boot.

-

Make sure boot is properly seated on joint piece.

-

Boot must make contact in the groove and the contour of the joint piece

-

Position joint piece in center position. See min - max position

Note:  Vent CV boot, e.g. using a screwdriver, while positioning joint piece in center position. (Arrow)
