Window shaft strip

Window frame and window regulator removed 

-

Release clip and remove it. 

-

Drill off rivet heads, knock rivet shafts through and remove window trim strip upward. 

NOTE:  On vehicles with gloss package, window frames do not have to be removed to remove chromed trim strips.

When installing, press window shaft trim on beginning at front end of door.

-

Dimension - a - = 0 to 0.5 mm.

Rivet window trim strip beginning from front and clip it at end with clip - 4 -.

Vehicles With Gloss Package 

NOTE: 

-

On vehicles with gloss package, window shaft strip is in two pieces. 

-

The chromed trim strip can be replaced without removing window frame. 

-

Exterior mirror on front doors removed.
