Coupling rod

‹› The coupling rod must be removed together with the stabilizer bar. 

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Stabilizer Bar Coupling Rod ] See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Suspension/Stabilizer Bar Coupling Rod

Bolt

‹› 115 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

‹› Always replace after removal

‹› The hex head bolts may not be loosened when the springs are still installed.

‹› Tighten in a diagonal sequence using the bolt => [ (Item 16) Bolt ] 

‹› The threads in the body can be repaired using thread inserts made of wire according to DIN 8140 (Helicoil). Thread insert must be same length

as thread in body.
