Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove the rear vents in the center console..

-

Disconnect the connector - 2 - rear center console alarm switch.

-

Reach through opening and release the clips.

-

Remain the rear center console alarm switch - 1 - and -  3 - from the mount.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Install the rear vents in the center console. Refer to=> Body Interior 68 Removal and Installation.

Removing

-

On vehicles with automatic transmission, place selector lever in position "S".

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove the Climatronic Control Module (J255). Refer to=> Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 87 Removal and Installation.
