Condition

The customer may report that buttons of Multimedia Control Head E380 are sticking. In addition, the MMI system may be inoperative due to the damage
to the multimedia control head.

Technical Background

Spilled fluids or food crumbs are usually the cause of sticking E380 buttons. Fluid residues on the control head or around buttons, the volume knob or
the main knob are another indication of this kind of outside influence.

Production Solution

Not applicable.

Service

Replace Multimedia Control Head E380.

Warranty

This damage is due to outside influence and is not covered by any Audi warranty.
