Type B

Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module with Tiptronic Switch

‹› Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189) are combined in one component.

‹› Tiptronic Switch (F189) magnets are secured to cover.

Removing

-

Remove selector lever handle => [ Selector Lever Handle ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Continuously Variable
Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter CVT/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Selector Lever Handle.

Remove rear and front center console.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

-

Release four retaining tabs - arrows - and remove Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189) upward.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

-

Engage Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) with Tiptronic Switch (F189) with four retaining tabs - arrows -.

-

Secure Selector Lever Transmission Range (TR) Position Display (Y26) electrical wiring - arrows -. 

-

Install rear and front center console.

Install selector lever handle => [ Selector Lever Handle ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Continuously Variable Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter
CVT/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Selector Lever Handle.
