Remove lower B-pillar trim => [ Lower B-pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Trim.

Guide belt webbing - 8 - out of upper B-pillar trim - 9 -.
Vehicle with air duct in B-pillar

Remove expanding rivets - 12 - (Qty. 2).
-
Remove air duct - 13 -.
Procedure for all vehicles
-
Remove bolts - 4 - (Qty. 2).
-
Remove belt guide - 5 -.
-
Remove the bolt - 11 -.
-
Remove belt relay - 7 - from seat belt height adjuster - 6 -.
-
Disconnect connector - 3 - => [ Removing and installing belt tensioner connector ].
-
Remove connector - 3 -.
-
Remove the bolt - 2 -.
-
Disengage belt roller/belt tensioner - 1 - from side panel with hook.
-
Remove belt roller/belt tensioner - 1 -.
‹› Installing

Engage belt roller/belt tensioner hook - 1 - in side panel cut-out => [ Engaging belt roller/belt tensioner ].
-
Install screw - 2 - and tighten to specified torque.
If three-point seat belt is being removed for accident repairs, replace screw.

Place connector - 3 - on belt tensioner - 1 -.

Connect connector - 3 - => [ Removing and installing belt tensioner connector ].
‹› Ensure that connector - 3 - is placed correctly and connected.
‹› Make sure ignition wire is not in belt webbing area.

Install belt relay - 7 -.
‹› If belt relay is being removed for accident repairs, replace screw - 11 -.
‹› Belt relay - 7 - must swivel by itself in carrier direction after tightening screw - 11 -.

Install belt guide - 5 - => [ Front Belt Guide ]. See: Front Belt Guide
Further installation takes in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Ensure three-point seat belt - 1 - is not obstructed by wires, insulation, etc.

Check belt height adjustment function.

Check seat belt => [ Seat Belts, Inspecting ] See: Testing and Inspection/Seat Belts, Inspecting.
