Rear Seat Heating Switches, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

-

Hook 3438

Removing 

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical components. 

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-

Place air vents in center console (rear) in a horizontal position.

NOTE:  Rear center console vent has openings for engaging hook 3438.

-

Pull rear center console vent out of rear center console in - direction of arrow - using hook 3438.

-

If installed, disconnect electrical harness connector at rear center console vent.

-

Reach through opening and release clips - arrows -.

-

Remove Left Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch E128 - item 2 - and Right Rear Heated Seat Regulating Switch E129 - item 1 - out of mount.

NOTE:  Shown in illustration with rear center console removed.
