Insert wheel hub support (T10149) into engine/transmission jack (V.A.G 1383 A) and press wheel bearing housing far enough upward until
control position, dimension -  a -, is obtained.

Control position

‹› Dimension - a - for vehicles with air suspension 386 mm

‹› Dimension - a - for Allroad vehicles with air spring 388 mm

CAUTION!
‹› Do not lift or lower vehicle when the engine/transmission jack stands below the vehicle.

‹› Do not leave engine/transmission jack below vehicle any longer than necessary.

Working after adjusting control position

-

Tighten respective bolts/nuts.

-

Lower wheel bearing housing.

Remove engine/transmission jack under vehicle. 

-

Remove wheel hub support (T10149).

-
