Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 64 number 08-10 dated December 2, 2008 for reasons listed below.
Affected Vehicles
Condition
The master power window switch on the driver's side jams or is inoperative.
The passenger window and the rear windows cannot be operated from the driver's side.
The window can be opened/closed with the individual switches.
Technical Background
Too tight tolerances between the power window switch and the switch trim can sporadically lead to the binding or the failure of the switch.

Audi A6 (4F):
^ Optimized switch trim.
^ Improved soldering process at the supplier.
^ Constructive change of the set of 4 switches.
Audi A3 (8PA):
^ Optimized tools for the switch trim.
^ Improved soldering process and change of the packaging at the supplier.
Constructive change of the set of 4 switches.
Service
Replace the switch trim and replace the master power window switch (driver's side).
