Glass Sunroof Panel, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Push sunroof headliner completely toward rear.

-

Tilt sunroof open.

-

Pull out interior trim strip - 1 - at top of panel between glass and inner plate in direction of arrow - A -.

-

Unclip interior trim strip at front of panel - 2 - from bolt and push to rear (arrow - B -) out of clip.

-

Remove interior trim toward center of vehicle.

-

Completely remove screws (arrows) on both sides of tilting mechanism.
Tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (40 in.lb.)

Lift sunroof out.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

Adjust sunroof.
