Fan Blade: Service and Repair

Viscous fan, removing and installing

Special tools and equipment: 
-

Wrench 3212

-

Open end 3312

Removing: 
-

Remove intake air duct for air cleaner.

-

Unbolt outer ring for viscous fan -arrows-.

-

Counter-hold viscous fan pulley with pin wrench 3212 and unscrew fan with open-end wrench 3312 (left-hand thread).

-

Remove viscous fan with outer ring.

Installing 
Install viscous fan in reverse order of removal but note the following:
-

Install fan together with outer ring (fan has lefthand thread).
