Sensor For Air Quality -G238-, Removing and Installing

NOTE:

-

Sensor for air quality -G238- contains a highly sensitive electronic component which can be damaged if it comes in direct contact with solvents,
fuels or chemicals. Therefore, do not install sensors which have come in contact with such substances.

Do not install a sensor that was stored in a tool box.

-

A removed sensor should not be placed in an area where it can come in contact with solutions, fuel and/or specific chemicals (fluid or dampness).

Remove plenum chamber cover.

-

Remove harness connector -A- from sensor.

-

Remove screw -B- and sensor.

Terminals in connector -A- are as follows:

-

Terminal 1: Plus (terminal "15")

-

Terminal 2: Minus (terminal "31")

-

Terminal 3: Signal wire to A/C control head - E87- (square wave signal not measurable)

-

Terminal 4: Not occupied
