Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

Headlight Bulbs, Replacing

NOTE:  Bulbs can be replaced with headlights installed.

Bulb for low beam or fog light

Removing:

-

Remove housing cap from headlight assembly.

-

Disconnect applicable electrical connector for low beam -1- or fog light -2-.

-

Unclip wire retainer and remove bulb from housing.

-

Unscrew bulb from socket or remove by pulling out.

Installing:

-

Insert new bulb in bulb holder. Do not touch glass part.

-

Secure bulb holder with wire retainer.

-

Reconnect electrical connectors and attach cover.

-

Attach cover snugly and secure with wire retainers.

-

After replacing a bulb check headlight adjustment.

Bulb for high beam

Removing:

-

Remove housing cap from headlight assembly.

-

Turn bulb socket for high beam -3- clockwise -arrow- and remove from bulb holder.

-

Unscrew bulb from socket.
