Maintenance Required Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation
Operation
SERVICE INTERVAL DISPLAY:
The service interval display helps you remember when service is required. If service is due, the service message will appear in the DIS after you turn on
the ignition. The message is followed by the number of miles (kilometers) left until the service is due. The display will go out approximately 60 seconds
after you start the engine.
The service reminder will be displayed for you 1,200 miles (2,000 km) before service is due. See illustration. The display will change in increments of
60 miles (100 km) as you approach 0.
