1 - Spring plate with threaded pin

A- Line through bolt holes in shock absorber

Threaded pins in spring plate must be in alignment with line through bolt holes in shock absorber.

Permissible deviation: ±2°

Install components of suspension strut. Make sure that end of spring is in contact -arrow- with stop of upper spring support.

Tighten collar nut to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) using special tool 3353, Refer to Fig. 3

Slacken off coil spring.
