When removing the drive shaft from the rear final drive, the balancing washer that may be located between the base plate and the bolt must not be
installed again.
1 - Final drive, rear

Pull off protective film and stick self-adhesive side on drive flange
3 - CV joint
^
Maximum permissible bending angle: 8°
4 - Base plate
^
Mark before removal
5 - Bolt
^
Self-locking
^
Always replace
^
Tighten to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)
6 - Universal joint
^
Maximum permissible bending angle: 25°
7 - Shims
8 - Bolt
^
Tighten to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
9 - Drive shaft center bearing
10 - Drive shaft
11 - Bolt

Self-locking
^
Always replace
^
Tightening to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)
