7. Pistons

Press out of brake caliper housing using compressed air, Refer to Fig. 1

^

Apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste G 052 150 A2 before installing

Installing, Refer to Figs. 5, and  6

8. Protective caps

^

Do not damage when installing piston

^

Install so that outer sealing lip goes over piston - Fig. 4

^

Install so that Inner sealing lip enters groove in brake caliper housing - Fig. 3

WARNING:  Do not separate two halves of housing (socket head bolts). Replace brake caliper if protective cap for guide pins is damaged.
