Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Front
1. Drive axle with ABS wheel speed sensor rotor

Check rotor for dirt and damage
^
If rotor is damaged, outer constant velocity joint must be replaced
^
Outer constant velocity joint is supplied with ABS wheel speed sensor rotor as replacement part
2. Screw and washer assembly, 10 Nm
3. Bracket
^
Insert ABS wheel speed sensor wire in bracket with rubber grommet.
4. Collar screw
5. Double clamp
^
Always replace
^
Before installing, coat hole in wheel bearing housing with brake cylinder paste G 000 650
^
Push into wheel bearing housing up to stop
6. Sealing cuff
7. ABS wheel speed sensor
^
Always replace.
