Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

Vibration dampener, removing and installing

Ribbed belt, removing and installing.  See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair

Note:  It is not necessary to loosen the center bolt to remove the vibration dampener.

Remove vibration dampener.

-

Align notch (arrow) in vibration dampener with locating lug on toothed belt sprocket.

-

Install vibration dampener.
-

Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
